The Workshop

Deep Brain Orientation

A one-day experiential introduction to hands-on therapy — the osteopathic craniosacral approach. We explore the profound relationship between the base of the skull and the base of the spine, and learn to perceive the body’s natural rhythms.

We palpate the nervous system where thoughts are stored in blueprint. The therapy works like a stethoscope to listen to our levels of anxiety, trauma, stagnation — and even creativity, wisdom and awareness.

What you’ll learn in one day

The intention of the day is to cultivate a deeper relationship with touch, presence and perception through the lens of osteopathic craniosacral practice.

The osteopathic concept

Understand the osteopathic concept of craniosacral therapy — the foundation everything else builds on.

Listen to a body

Develop the sensitivity to genuinely feel what a body is expressing beneath the surface.

Awareness of the deep core

Bring awareness to the deep core and consciousness of both yourself and your clients.

Guided palpation

Develop greater sensitivity through structured, hands-on palpation exercises.

Rhythms of brain & nerves

Learn to perceive the rhythms of the brain and the nervous network — the body’s living signals.

Principles of stillness

Experience how stillness — not movement — becomes the ground of deep listening.

Intuitive vs. structured

Explore the difference between intuitive sensing and structured osteopathic listening.

A foundation to build on

Everything here prepares you for advanced work with organs, joints, liver, gut and back.

Like a stethoscope for the self

What we learn to listen to

By palpating the nervous system, we begin to hear the deeper layers held in the body’s blueprint.

Anxiety Trauma Stagnation Creativity Wisdom Awareness

“In meditation we learn to observe the movement of the mind. In this listening we learn to observe the movement of life expressing itself through the body.”
